To join Signet of the Lion, you must agree with the following rules of membership:
Signet of the [liON] is a Christian Guild made up of those who believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The only exception to this is that a Christian member may sponsor a non-Christian member. Non-Christians have all the rights and priveleges of membership with the exception that they cannot be an officer or guild leader. At all times the number of Christian members of the guild will be larger than the number of non-Christians.
2. Keep it clean. This means your language in-chat and in-game and in-forum. Character names (including pets) should be family friendly. Most people have an on/off switch where bad language is concerned. We require that you keep yours "Off".
3. Our guild is oriented for those who enjoy the PvE (Player vs. Environment) aspect of the game. Members are not discouraged from PvP but the guild direction, leadership, and organized guild events will be mainly with PvE in mind. The one exception to this rule is Alliance Battles. AB is authorized to be an organized guild event.
4. No scamming. This means obtaining something by deception. Be honest in your dealings with guildies and with others. Be respectful to others.
5. No begging for gold. We expect our members to pay their own way in the game. It is much more rewarding to earn something than when it is just given to you. Begging for gold looks bad on yourself and on the guild. We do have a guild storage for sharing purposes but please don't abuse it by taking continuously without giving and under no circumstances are you allowed to take items from guild storage to sell.
6. No buying or selling items or services in Guild or Alliance chat. Guild and Alliance chat is just for chat. We don't want it clogged up with buying and selling. You may use Guild/Alliance chat if you wish to give an item away to a guildie.
7. The guild leadership will lead at least one regularly scheduled weekly guild-wide PvE event to encourage fellowship among the members.
8. The guild leadership may change existing rules or add new ones as they see fit. A simple majority of the guild leadership is all that is necessary to accomplish this.
